Chapter 5

At the end of class Kasha went to the library and there she saw that boy again seating at a table in the corner near a window. Approaching the table she pulled out the chair and dropped her books on the table. As the books fell his head lifted being shy he quickly put his head back down into his book, "Hi, how are you?" "I’m ok." "I’m Kasha. What’s your name?" "I’m Peter." At the same time they lock eyes and instantly there was a connection that Kasha felt. For some reason she wanted him but didn’t know why. She began to feel sick to her stomach, "I have to go now. Hope to see you around again." Kasha leaves and makes it to the room just in time, in the bathroom she starts to shake and her teeth were hurting. She had no clue what was happening to her. She looks in the mirror and her teeth are changing and fangs were growing. Sonya comes into the room and hears stuff falling; she walks over to the bathroom placing her ear to the door and hears lots of noise, "Kasha, are you in there?" Not getting a response she turned the door knob but it wouldn’t open. Sonya stood back and her dirty blonde hair turned black and her eyes turned hazel and she stared at the door; the door blew up into little pieces. Behind it laid Kasha on the floor with her green eyes rolled back into her head and she lay there not moving. Sonya picks her up and carries her over to the bed and gets a box from the closet. Opening it there is one syringe and some blood. Taking the syringe and filling it up with the blood Sonya sticks it in Kasha’s arm into her veins and her veins turned black all over her body. Her eyes opened, she rose up coughing saying "What happened?" "You’re ok, just relax." "Lay back down and sleep, you need your rest and tomorrow we will talk."
